Hello, all... I've searched Ancestry every possible way I can think of but cannot find this family in 1841. The only conclusion I can come to is that Ancestry is missing a part of the census. I'm hoping someone with another source can help me with a transcripton or image of the '41. They are recorded in 1851 as follows: "Civil parish Saddleworth, Eccl dist Saddleworth Church, Reg dist Saddleworth, sub reg dist Uppermill ED 1. place: Upper Wood Augustus Bradbury head mar 40 licenced victualler b. Saddleworth Yorks Sarah A do wife mar 35 do wife b. do do Thomas do son 12 home b. do do Sarah do daur 10 b. do do James do son 4 b. do do Willm do son 2 b. do do Ann do Mother 59 house servant b. do do.". Faith, I've had a look and can't find anything that matches. There were some records from 1841 that were damaged or illegible - I've had this problem with my own people.
