Does anyone have access to Huddersfield area records that might help me learn a little more about Frederick NEVETT. He married Betsy Ann TINKER in 1886 and is found on the 1891 census on Albert St. Lockwood, where he is listed as a photographer and artist, and claims to have been born in London. An Internet search and A2A show that he and a brother may have contributed railyway photos but are only mentioned as the NEVETT BROTHERS. Further attempts to find him and Betsy have come up empty - I have checked census for 1900/01 for the US, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, etc. as well as immigration to US. I have tried wild cards in the ancestry census searches. Perhaps he still lived in the Huddersfield area in 1901 but missed the census due to travel or circumstance. Thus far I have no confirmed instance of him on other censuses. BMD has a possible birth in Lewisham (London) in 1863, which is close to the calculated birth from his age of 29 at the 1891 census.
