Hi Eileen in Ottawa, You are very kind. I didn't think I'd be able to find Mary's surname. No I do not have access to Ancestry myself but a friend on the ENG-SOM List (she is in New Zealand) does and has sent me some census material offered to help me further with census info. She too is very kind. I have looked at FreeBDM's and one or two Sheffield sites and did get some information but not much. Will check out your suggestions. Thank you.
