Hi bare an aside from the far North, up in Finmark Norway (where North Cape is) there is in the 1865 Norwegian census a family called Hirsti. Do know from all the trouble between King Christian the 4th and Elizabeth the 1st goverments over passage fees for the Muskovy Company's ships sailing to Archangel, that fishing boats from Hull were arrested and taken into Vardø.
