Hi Jean and others The Yorkshire Penny Bank became the Yorkshire Bank.It eventually had branches all over Yorkahire, adjoining (and naturally lesser) couties, and even "down south". I have many relatives and friends who worked for it. It is now owned by an Australian bank. (Sort of colonisation-in-reverse!)
