    3. Hi Cornelia, I have some of the Leeds registers on-line on the Genuki site (transcribed by Jack Parry and David Simpson). These go up to around the mid 1700s. There are also some of the early Armley registers there. (see the Leeds Parish page). Best wishes, Colin Hinson In the village of Blunham in Bedfordshire U.K. Webmaster for the Genuki Yorkshire pages: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/ Old and Rare Yorkshire Books on searchable CDroms: http://www.YorkshireCDbooks.com >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > after digging in to nearly every single one of the Yorkshire parish >registers, more than half of which do not state up front which parish >they are for, and some having 3 books for the parish when others have >only one, I was quite disappointed to learn that none of these were >for my parishes of interest. the ones I didn't dig into did have the >parish name up front. does anyone know if books have been published >for the parishes of; > > Leeds, Batley, Armley, Hightown, Birstall...and Littletown. my >interests are in the early 1800's and any time before that. > > regards, > > Cornelia
