We live in the backwoods and have only dial-up Internet service. I ave tried to get on the site for many hours and it would only go so far and hen crash. I have been searching for years for the marriage of my great-great-great randparents. Robert WHITTAKER or WHITAKER and his wife Hannah. He was born in about 1789 in either Heywood Lancashire or Harwood ancashire. She was born in about 1789 in Oulton, Leeds, West Yorkshire. We think Hannah's maiden name was WRIGGLESWORTH, but are not 100% sure. Robert and Hannah lived in Oulton, Leeds, West Yorkshire and has 6 children here. We did find a marriage for an Ann WRIGGLESWORTH to a Thomas WEBSTER in edsham Yorkshire in 1815 on the IGI, and are wondering if this could have een our Hannah's first marriage and a marriage to Robert WHITTAKER perhaps second marriage if Thomas WEBSTER had died. In this case the marriage record might read Robert WHITTAKER and Ann or annah WEBSTER. Our basis for this theory is that the first son was named Thomas, born about 817 and his son has "WEBSTER" as a middle name and it does not appear to be onnected to the child's mother's family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marina anada =
