    3. Hi Ellen The BMD certificates are standard across the country - no local variations. Here's a useful site which explains what you'll find on each type of certificate. I'm afraid our death certs aren't the most helpful in the world. To find a burial of that period, try contacting the Kirklees Council Bereavement services - see http://www.kirklees.gov.uk/answers/deathandbereavement/bereavementService.sh tml and the link about finding a burial. (Kirklees Council area includes Huddersfield) You can contact the Huddersfield Examiner archivist on this email address [email protected] Hope this helps Kate -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ellen Murray Sent: 08 December 2009 01:03 To: [email protected] Subject: [WRY] Info on a Death Certificate Would someone on the List be able to tell me if cause of death and/or place of burial would show on a 1927 death registration / certificate for Huddersfield?
