Would someone kindly do a look-up on the Yorkshire Online Parish registers site. We live in the backwoods and have only dial-up Internet service. I have tried to get on the site for many hours and it would only go so far and then crash. I have been searching for years for the marriage of my great-great-great grandparents. Robert WHITTAKER or WHITAKER and his wife Hannah. He was born in about 1789 in either Heywood Lancashire or Harwood Lancashire. She was born in about 1789 in Oulton, Leeds, West Yorkshire. We think Hannah's maiden name was WRIGGLESWORTH, but are not 100% sure. Robert and Hannah lived in Oulton, Leeds, West Yorkshire and has 6 children there. We did find a marriage for an Ann WRIGGLESWORTH to a Thomas WEBSTER in Ledsham Yorkshire in 1815 on the IGI, and are wondering if this could have been our Hannah's first marriage and a marriage to Robert WHITTAKER perhaps a second marriage if Thomas WEBSTER had died. In this case the marriage record might read Robert WHITTAKER and Ann or Hannah WEBSTER. Our basis for this theory is that the first son was named Thomas, born about 1817 and his son has "WEBSTER" as a middle name and it does not appear to be connected to the child's mother's family.
