Hi All There's is a write up in my local paper today of John Ostrich aged 14 in 1941, Originally from Cardiff, he now rests in Penzance cemetery. A book is available 'They Shall Grow Not Old' by Billy McGee, which is dedicated to more than 500 boys aged under 16 who died in service with the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. It is only available from the author who can be contacted on [email protected] I have no connection with the author, or the newspaper, I just thought some of you may be interested.
