I am late in thanking those who responded to my question on Mollie Sugden's family history. My attention was on vacation last week. Thanks to all who responded to my query. I plan on following up to confirm some of the biographical information that listers have sent. I too descend from the Keighley Shackletons, along with Sir Ernest Shackleton, the Antarctic explorer, so we were probably distantly related.
