I have the birth Certificate for the above, but Free BMD throws up "no matches". The Certificate shows his birth as 9th April 1839 at Barnsley Yorkshire. He shows up on 1851 and 1861 Census, and then disappears entirely. He had 4 sons and a daughter. He supposedly married Guilelma West who bore these children. She later married Arthur Whitaker in Oltey. I can find no record of his death. Any ideas ? Tony Watkinson (A.A. Watkinson)
