Frank Edward and Clara HOYLE became Master and Matron of Deanhouse after serving as Porter and Portress at Crosland Moor. Their daughter, Lucie, was the mother of my aunt (Dad's half sister). My aunt died recently and I have found some HOYLE family photos and papers amongst her effects. Apparently Lucie had a brother, George Frederick, known in the family as Fred. From photos we know he became a soldier, possibly in the KOYLIs, but don't know if it was just WWI service or a career choice.
