    3. Hi Maggie Thank you for replying Yes you can to a certain extent work round the problem, using the WDP number on the bottom of each page to identify the church. But the problem is the WDP number is not always present, ie The Banns Register that I have viewed so far have neither the church name or WDP number is present. The work round is further exasperated when in the case of Brother PC, records of both Brotherton and Kirksmeaton have all been mixed in together. I have notified Ancestry, who have noted the problems and that is as far as they have got. I am not sure if you are aware, the parish church indexing may seem complete but in reality a lot of the early registers in particular ie pre 1812 is not fully indexed and needs to be viewed page by page Regards Lenny Beaumont (researching Beaumonts) ----- Original Message ----- From: <maggiemole@aol.com> To: <west-riding@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2011 9:46 AM Subject: Re: [WRY] Another mix up on Ancestry >I notified West Yorkshire Archives, Lenny, who provided the data to >Ancestry and said they would work with Ancestry to get the mis-indexing >corrected.
