That's interesting. What shows that this Susannah BOTTOMLEY married John SHARP? I agree that John SHARP was a joiner in Halifax parish upon his marriage, but Susanna BOTTOMLEY was in Bradford parish, so I din't see any Elland connection there. My view is that she is Susan BOTTOMLEY of Wibsey bpt 20 May 1744 Wibsey Chapel, elder sister of Will-maker John BOTTOMLEY [of Wibsey bpt 30 Nov 1746 Bradford St Peter]. Thus, most naturally, he makes his bequests to his nieces. The Will is pretty strong circumstantial evidence that they are nieces, I was hoping for something specific in those families. Howard
