Trying to establish that the wives below are all daughters of John SHARP & Susanna BOTTOMLEY (m 1764 Bradford). I cannot find records of their baptisms anywhere. Sarah & William AKED cropper (m 1808 Leeds, she being Widow COOKSON) Hannah & Timothy GOOD shoemaker (m 1797 Leeds) Martha & Anthony SHARP of Clayton Heights (m 1813 Bradford) Mary & Joshua STANCLIFFE hairdresser (m 1794 Halifax) All the wives received quite generous legacies in the 1818 Will of John BOTTOMLEY yeoman of Horton, implying they were close relatives, with the obvious implication that Susanna BOTTOMLEY would be sister of John BOTTOMLEY, Susan BOTTOMLEY b 1744 Wibsey. I think this is Mrs AKED's first marriage: Sarah & William COOKSON of Huddersfield (m 1790 Leeds) The COOKSONs and GOODs both lived in Ebenezer St, Leeds. Howard Geddes
