Hi Linda, I expect you've looked at this marriage on FreeBMD: Marriages Sep 1861 (>99%) Cliberon Priscilla Halifax 9a 604 Cliberow Priscilla Halifax 9a 604 Keighley John Whitely Halifax 9a 604 Mallinson Emma Halifax 9a 604 Simpson Charles Halifax 9a 604 That seems to tick all the boxes so my guess is that Priscilla was a widow when she married Charles or perhaps was born a HALL but her mother may have remarried to a CLIBEROW/N so she was using that name at the time of her marriage? Widowhood seems most obvious but I can't find a marriage for a Priscilla HALL to a CLIBEROW/N. Could be worth getting this marriage cert to see what it says? I have been unable to find a birth record or marriage for her & Charles, although according to the birth certificate of their number 1 son, her maiden name was HALL and this was confirmed on the death certificate of one of her other children. Charles and Priscilla had 7 children and she died in 1882 in Halifax. I have tried several names that sound like HALL to no avail, can anyone please help? cheers Linda

Celia I did look at that one, but the birth of Priscilla Cliberon would have made her only 18 at the time of her marriage to Charles, so no time for a first marriage.
