In the Parish Registers recently appearing on Ancestry, it seems as though there are literally dozens of Christening entries throughout the 1720s and 1730s which are exactly duplicated under both St. Peter's, Sowerby and St. John's, Royston. Can anyone suggest what, if anything, these two separate churches in two distinct Parishes could possibly have had to do with each other's records, and which of them would have been the actual and correct place of the events?
