I have just one Baptism at Sowerby St.Peter's in the 1720s/30s, period. Perhaps if you would like to check this, it may tell you if the Parish Register Ancestry gave, i.e. - Sowerby or Royston ?? Sowerby St. Peter's Thomas COOPER, bapt. 25 Jan 1733, son of Robert. Regards, Gordon. Can anyone suggest what, if anything, these two separate churches in two distinct Parishes could possibly have had to do with each other's records, and which of them would have been the actual and correct place of the events? > > Some useful websites - > FREECEN - http://www.freecen.org.uk/ > FREEBMD - http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ > FREEREG - http://www.freereg.org.uk/ > > Want to know where a place in Yorkshire is - Try Genuki > http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/ > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to WEST-RIDING-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
