I was wondering there is anyone on the list that could answer another question for me. I have a little girl (Mable A Bennett born 1893 Barnsley Yks) I have her on all the cens with my William ASHTON and his wife Hannah Louisa, the 1911 is the only one that states Adopted daughter. This should allow you to purchase the birth certificate. I don't suppose Hannah Louise was a Bennett before she married?
