    3. Sharlie: In the 1881 census his wife is Mary, but in 1871 his wife is Ann (also born in Burslem). Son James (1864) is there but not Martha or Nellie. >From FreeBMD There are only three James Wildblood marriages in all of England between 1855 and 1871 none to a Mary, however there is a James Wildblood marriage to Ann Greatbach Sept qtr 1864 in Wolverhampton 6b 722 Also Ann Wildblood, age 46 died Wolverhampton June qtr 1876 and Annie Wildblood, age 25 in Wolstanton March qtr 1875 Using the Marriage locater with the BMD info unfortunately cannot define the church where the marriage took place but it suggests either Wolverhampton St Mary or Handsworth St Mary in West Bromwich See www.marriage-locator.co.uk/ For other details you will need the marriage certificate Mel Smith Whitby, Ontario, Canada -----Original Message----- From: west-riding-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:west-riding-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of maggiemole@aol.com Sent: September 3, 2011 4:11 AM To: west-riding@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WRY] James WILDBLOOD married ? Hi Sharlie, I hope you're asking a Staffordshire list about this puzzle, too? All the events seems to lie there. Wellie is Nellie, a daughter, and she might formally have been Ellen or Helen: there is a Helen born at Kings Norton Sep 1870 who is possible. I think you'll need to buy the marriage certificate to see who Mary is, unless anyone knows Staffs church records. Good luck! Can someone fill in the gaps on this puzzle? I've re-read free BMD and county records and drawn a blank on both of them. James WILDBLOOD , born in Burslem, married MARY ? Sept 1/4 1864. The marriage is registered in Wolstanton. They had 3 children that I know of - James born 1864 Martha about 1865 Wellie born about 1871. Yes, I know that last is an odd name, but that's what it looks like on the census. Any information on the parents of the bride and groom and more precisely where they married, would be much appreciated.TIA.
