    3. I am the one who started this by asking for a 1911 census lookup.I will just say that I have been doing my family history for 12 years and read book after book from the library on it and a couple by David Hay.I suppose I have spent about 200 pounds on birth, marry, death cert,s and have been a member of 3 Family History Societies in UK ALSO USED THE cHURCH OF LDS lots and lots  oftimes by ordering films and fiche  over the years.I have bought lots of CD,s from Yorkshire and other bits and pieces.I have helped other people on the internet when I could because I enjoy my hobby. Over here we have Ancestry.com Library Edition provided by the council to the local libraries where as a member the librarian signs you in to the Library Edition  where you can search all the cenesus ,s from 1841  to 1911 FREE. The problem with the 1911 census is it is very ,very complicated to operate and I have made a mess of it several times,so I put my problem up for a search. Barrie  from lovely Anna Bay   and I am very grateful to the people who responded to my request Thankyou

    3. I agree wholeheartedly! I took out an Ancestry subscription, for a change as my FMP lapsed. Big Mistake! I had some records from 1911 (FMP) but I couldn't for the life of me find them on Ancestry. I do so like the instructions though .... if you can't find them try searching on the 1901 address and see if they are still there! The 'summary' only shows the the name of the head of house so If your subject is a lodger ... tough! I felt so disappointed that I cancelled the subscription within a matter of hours.
