Dear Carol and Angela Thank you **so** much for doing the look-ups - yes, that looks like my Walkers, on both counts. I am so grateful for the help - I now not only know where the were, but that the father, Thomas, had died by 1841. Which makes finding his death and age a little easier. Thank you so much! Hi I was wondering if someone could do a quick look up on the census for me? I did have an account with Ancestry for several years, but cancelled it as I thought I'd finished all the post 1841 searches. I'm trying to find a Thomas and Sarah Walker in the 1841 and/or 1851 censuses. This would be somewhere in the Hoyland, Wentworth, Kimberworth area - their children were baptised in the Wentworth parish. They would probably be about 50+ in the 1841 census, if still alive. Possible children could be Olivia. born. c. 1819 William, born c. 1824 Eliza, born c. 1827 Joseph, born c. 1831 If anyone can help and save me having to re-subscribe just for this, it would be v.v. much appreciated Best wishes Sue
Has anyone run across the given name Imeon or Immeon? Does anyone know the derivation of this name? Immeon first appears in my family in 1738 when Immeon Heywood married Allan Edwards in Huddersfield. Thanks. Carole

Hello WRY Listers Further to my recent pleas for help on this list you may be interested to know that I now have a photocopy of the Wetherby Chapel baptism entry for "our" Harriett PICK, and good quality information about other PICKS I was interested in. Good advice received from several listers enabled me to identify which records for the area had not been filmed by the LDS, and a most helpful lister then searched the candidate records in York, eventually finding exactly what I needed. The moral of my tale - even a a rather general, possibly naive, request for help on these lists can lead to success.
