I have 4 Joseph Wests, but none with Joanna Smith as a spouse. I don't have locations for them either I'm afraid. One Joseph married Patience Peck (1763-1849); another Joseph was b. 24 Aug. 1787, prob. but uncertain, in Nova Scotia. Allen Rev. E. Allen, It occurs to me that you might ask the Kings's Historical Society for a photo-copy of Adelia Ellis's manuscript, "West Lines". She did a great deal of research and many of her sources are included. She only goes astray in her claims that Francis of Duxbury is related to Baron De La Warre and the early governor of Virginia. Do you have a reliable source for the location of Elijah's birth? It may be that I can find a birth or Baptismal record of Rebecca in the same place. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allen Siebold" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, November 01, 2003 9:06 PM Subject: Re: [WEST-L] Robert West - Died in 1742 - Lewes, Delaware > I have 4 Joseph Wests, but none with Joanna Smith as a spouse.
