Hi, I am posting my husband's West family, with additional information. I have sent some of the names before. Does anyone on the list think they could have a connection to this West family? James Jesse West, b. June 14, 1814 in PA. He listed his father, on the 1880 census, as being born in Indiana. (no name) James married (1) Mary Rogers in Washtenaw Co. MI in 1835. He married (2) Frances ? after 1880 in NE. James J. died in Butler Co. NE in 1895. Have not found information on his brothers, or sisters. These are the names of his children: (In case the names bear a resemblance to another West family.) 1.. Sarah West, b. Quincy, MI in 1836. 2.. Harriet West, b. 1838. in Quincy, MI married Hartson Meredith. 3.. Charles Henry West, b. 1840. Quincy, MI d. Civil War. 4.. Anna West, b. 1843. Married a Rustine. 5.. James Albert West, b. 1845, New London, Findley Co., Ohio. (My husbands great grandfather. 6.. Randolph West, b. 1851 7.. Edmund West, b. 1853, Branch Co. MI married Molly Hedge. 8.. Flora A.
