No Rosie, I don't know anything about it. What I have on my West Family from Accomack VA all came out of The West Register, that was mentioned here a few days ago. http://westfamilygenealogy.com/west/register.html There is an abundance of information in this register. Have you followed it through. You might find something. I know my great great grandfather was a brick wall for a long time after I even learned his name, but he is in the register, with his lineage back to 1622 I think it was. It is the Anthony West line. You might just read it through, maybe some of them went to Deleware, I don't know. But there is information on the Coats of Arms of the DE LA WARR and West Families Lineage of the De Le Warr Family American Descendants of the De Le Warrs I have seen where someone said they thought the state of Delaware got it's name from the De La Warr family. I don't have a clue, but you might find something in these lines. I hope you find your family in this, check it out and see. Keep asking for information. I know that a lady has information on the Wests from Sussex County, Delaware because I talked to a person in Snow Hill, Maryland That she got information from. I do not have her name or any other information about her. I have a Lavinia West in My line from Worcester/Wicomico County, Maryland. I did not have time to look up her date of birth, but I think it is a little later then yours. My line was right on the Delaware and Maryland Border. There is no Lavinia West listed in the index of "The West Family Register". George, it may be me that you are thinking about. I have quite some information about the Delaware Wests.
