While we are on the subject of John West, I will mention mine. He died in Craven County, NC in 1800, leaving a nuncupative (oral) will. I do not know his wife or parents (although there are some possiblities for the latter). His children were: Daniel Levi (m1. Wealthy Bruton, m2. Sarah Jackson, m3. Susannah White) James John (yes, another) Joseph (m. Sarah Stanley, moved to Baldwin Co., GA) Sally (m. Moses Stanley) Elizabeth (m.
