My John West, born about 1806 to 1812 in Tennessee, married Lavina Myers. John and Lavina are in Hawkins County in 1850 and in Claiborne County in 1860. She is back in Hawkins County with some of the children but without John in 1870 so I'm wondering if he didn't die before then. In 1880 she shows up in Greene County. She was also called Vina. Any connections? I would love to know more about John and Lavina/Vina. Thanks. Phyllis
