Ginny: What part of Georgia? My gg-grandfather was Francis West (Frederick) who was born about 1826 in Georgia. Not sure where...he shows up in 1850 Houston County, Georgia married a year and the newspaper announcement says he is formerly from Dooly County, Georgia.
