I am searching for a Joseph West and wife Joanna Smith from the New York area. My gg grandfather Ira Allen West was born of them and I have no other information concerning siblings other than Ira Allen or any info on Joseph and Joanna. I understand Joanna was born in Connecticut. I have no years, but prior to 1838 when Ira Allen West was born.
