Hi list, I'm looking for a John W. West from Pennsylvania..mid 1800's. I believe that somehow he is from my line. In 1855 in Centre County PA he bought a piece of property with Hugh St. Clair West. I have a copy of the deed, but no information on the John W. West listed. I'm trying to determine if he is a brother, father or uncle of Hugh, as Hugh is from my line. West b. 28 Oct 1690-Long Credon, Buckinghamshire, England m. 1718-Chester Co., Penn. d. 5 Oct 1776-Warborough, Oxforshire, England to: Sarah Pearson b. 8 April 1697-Marple Twp.
