I would like to know if anyone has information on the parents or ancestors of Ellison West, born 1824 in BATH, KY; died 1865 in TN. He married Lucinda Jane Pollitt April 08, 1847 in Shelby Co, IN. She was born March 15, 1824 in Shelby Co., IN, and died February 17, 1898 in Gwynnville, IN. Notes for Ellison West: Died in Civil War, Co. E., 79th Ind. Inf. Sank with the Sultana. A brother Walter West married into Sorrell family.
