This is how it was presented on e-bay...what I got was a page taken from a book with the little picture inside. so much for this being an "original engraving; this is not a reproduction" Okay Wests out there, what would you have thought was being sold? 1861 Engraving PA Benjamin West Birth Place Guaranteed original engraving; this is not a reproduction. This print was removed from the 1861 edition of John W. Barber and Henry Howe's book "Our Whole Country: Or The Past and Present of the United States, Historical and Descriptive. Illustrated by 600 engravings." The approximate dimensions of the print including captions is 1.75" x 1.25". It has some foxing spots yet is attractive and would be nice framed.
