I wish I could help you connect the dots. I can tell you that some McElroy's came to America with the Wests just before the Revolution. There was an Isaac West traveling with Henry and Jane and their two boys Henry and James. However in 1808 Henry and James were in Ohio. So I cannot connect any dots.
