I will have to dig a little more for clues about his origin and get back to you. Do you know where in PA your 1726 Samuel may have been born? I think it is ironic that we have two Thomas Wests with a daughter named Jessie Bell West bn TX. There must be a connection somewhere. My Thomas was born in Jasper County, GA on December 2, 1823. He died February 21, 1905 in Somervell County TX. He married (3rd) Malinda and their daughter Jessie Bell West was born January 8, 1873 in Texas. I wonder how these lines connect??.
