Hello Ginnie,.. I have a John West in my family (actually several) Also, Susan, Sara, Louisa, and George B. are names in my line. George B. West being my GF. Could your John be a nephew, Grandson, cousin of John West b 1794, Taunton, Ma. ? I lost track of my Grandfathers brother John West. B mid 1800's. His GF was John West b 1794. I believe my GF brother John, moved to Va ? and married but lost after that. (I don't have any real proof of this.) It's a long shot but with all these John West's, any lead helps.
