Marty, The "Grandmother West" is the straw I am grabbing at. She would have been my great-great grandmother. Her daughter, Mattie (Martha Alice West), married Willis Marion "Doc" Rogers about 1879 in Texas. (My great-grandparents) Mattie was born about 1865 and died about 1890. Mattie and Doc had 3 children, Mary Magadalene (aka: Molly), William Henry and John Burton. "Grandmother West" was still alive in November of 1955 when my grandfather, William Henry, died in Duncan, Oklahoma. In his funeral book under the section for those who sent flowers was the entry "Grandmother West". That would make her somewhere around 100 years old and I am hoping that someone may recognize the someone in their West family line that lived to be that old. Unfortunately it is the only glimpse I have of Mattie's parentage. Thanks for your patience with my inquiry.
