    3. Bud: I have seen the Littleton West name before but it is not in my database. However, I found the following: On page 418 of "The West Family Register" is the following: West Virginia - Greenbrier County The following marriage records which have just appeared in the July Number of William and Mary Magazine seem to settle definitely the line to which the Wests of Garrard County, Kentucky, belong: Littleton West m. Elinor Gallaway, Feb. 6, 1781. Joseph West m. Agnes Carpenter, Feb. 17, 1781. Luke West m. Rosa Acers, Nov. 9, 1784. Penelope West m. Mitchell Porter, Jan. 25, 1788. Mary West m. Solomon Turpin, Mar. 18, 1788. Tabitha West m. William Kindir, Oct. 24, 1791. Joseph West lived in Greenbirer County until about 1795 when he moved to Kentucky. The name Turpin is a a faimly in the Garrard Branch. Littleton West, who was born in Sussex Conty, Delaware, Nov. 25, 1755, enlisted in Greenbrier county. He later moved to Madison County, Kentucky, and from there moved to Ray County, Missouri.
