    2. I will be happy to answer your question about the WEST - WAGGONER RANCH. There is a huge Waggoner ranch near Vernon or was until it was or is being split up due to death etc, The George West -Wagner ranch is no relative to my George Washington West that I know of. However he did have several hundred acres until his death but not in the county you are speaking of. He built a beautiful 2 story home for his family but just last year it was burned down by one of his GGGGrandsons that got the place through heirship and not much of that either. Just a few acres and the old home place. It was literally falling down due to vacancy for many years. I have been through George West territory but never thought too much about it until you and another person mentioned a few years ago. The George W. West that is my G Grandfather is buried in the Silver Hill Cemetery in Jack County. His daughter, Matilda Jane is my Grandmother. My dad's father is my Grandfather and their son. If that helps any, I do have a little something on them. lw
