My West connection is through my great grandmother Lavinia West and her marriage to Hampton Harris. Her mother Mrs. Lavinia West (don't have her maiden name) married Thompson Harris in Georgia abt 1855. The daughter Lavinia West married the youngest son of Thompson Harris and his first wife Nancy Ursery. According to the 1850 Ware County Georgia census, Thompson Harris, his son Hampton Harris, Mrs. Lavinia West, Lavinia West age 15, Sally West age 13 and Mary West age 8. Have not found Lavinia and children before 1850. Does anyone make any connection to these West women or have any idea who the husband and father to these women was? What happened to the other two girls, Sally and Mary? By the way I have the pointy things behind my teeth and the longer toe next to my big toe. My brother and his oldest son have the very black eyes and high cheek bones, not sure about the teeth or toes. My dad also has the very black eyes and from pictures of him in his younger years high cheek bones and very black hair. When I mentioned the possible NA ancestry he said no way.
