Bradley, my Samuel WEST was born before 1755, place unknown; died after tax enumeration of 1808 in Duplin Co., NC. Samuel's known children were Samuel, James, Daniel, William and Gibson WEST. Samuel's wife remains unidentified. Samuel is possibly: 1. a son of James WEST and brother to Willis WEST, 2. a descendant of Nathaniel WEST who died in Duplin 1770. 3. a descendant of one of the WEST families of Craven Co., NC; probably (another) Samuel WEST. We have three of us that match in our WEST family group number ten. I am W39. At present, I am searching for a male, lineal descendant of Willis WEST who is willing to have his DNA tested. Many, many queries have been placed on message boards around the world with no results. So far, I have corresponded with four proved descendants of Willis who steadfastly refuse to have their DNA tested. Fran/Awkoska Descended from Samuel WEST born NC before 1755. --------------------------------- New Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.
