There appear to be several separate families that made similar journeys about that time, Cindy. Mine left North Carolina and stopped for awhile in Estill County, Kentucky, then moved on to Indiana and settled in Hencricks and Boone Counties. Don't think we have any connections, however. The only Thomas in my line is my uncle and he's not that old.
