Like I've said before - no one really owns this information, it belongs to our ancestors and anyone searching for them, but it's hard work, and giving credit is one of the nicest ways to salute someone's efforts. I guess no one has found a connection with my line and that's disappointing. I've sent out soooooo many and nary a bite. The preface to my other lineage data "A West Genealogy beginning with Captain Francis West Jamestown Colony ... "this portion of West Genealogy beginning with the arrival of Captain Francis west in Jamestown in 1607, his later trip to New England and more specifically Duxbury, Massachusetts where he purchased land, gives a probable link between him and a younger Francis West who came to Duxbury and settled in the early 1630's. This second Francis married Margery Reeves and their children are the progenitors of many bearing the West name today in southern New England and the Canadian Maritimes.
