    3. Deloris I've sent a mail to Rootsweb this morning about this type of document. I would describe it as one of the book outputs from a genealogy program PLUS detailed analysis about one family line of interest with all the assumptions taken and reasons for these assumptions. Also includes snips from newspapers. I agree freepages is the likely place for something like this. I would think that a "list freepage" and then the associated last name would be useful for all of the lists to place similar types of documents as they come up. I know I have seen documents exchanged on other lists. Also, I think there was some info earlier on the West list related to the De laWare discussions and Francis West not being listed as a "Sir"... If you were "ready" to put your own info on the freepages this is a good example I think of the type of thing you would include. However, sometimes people are not ready to make that step and just want to share a something. I think other lists must have been through this before. I'll let the list know what I find out. Rootsweb takes all kinds of things at various databases they have subjects from A - Z, as long as it's genealogical, having to do with family history and such. Have you gone to their main homepage and requested a freepage? They will assign one to you where you can post your document, there are sites there that even consists of nothing but a page telling viewers what the names of their ancestors are that they are researching, it's that open to all kinds of formats. Here is the direct address to their Freepages Account request, click onto that link on this page and it gives you instructions and an address you can contact to get more info about it: http://accounts.rootsweb.com/<http://accounts.rootsweb.com/> I, personally don't object to the requests for the documents on the mailing list, but I can see that it is causing a little conflict and don't want to see the list falling into something that becomes unpleasant. Besides, I do lots of lookup requests and can understand that sending out so many responses to the requests for documents at once can be very time consuming. 3. Rootsweb does not have a place to put this unless we get some free space. It sounds like Deloris's offer would help us on Monday... So, Deloris, Sandra, & Karon --- do we have Deloris load the document up there and send out the address to the list? Deloris, do you have a copy of the document? If you want to put it out in multiple pieces, I have the 6 documents that I have been sending to those caught in the ISP situation. What about coming up with a standard citation for the source of this? Sandra, can you do that? I think you said you had a cousin or something who should get credit also. I think this is going to get me going and make my own free pages also. I keep putting it off. I have several pictures that might be of interest to a few people now or in the future. I'd like to get them out where others could see them. My goal for 2006! 3. It is not up to me at all, and Sandra has said she can't do it without the agreement from her cousin. I think we need to leave it up to Sandra now.
