I don't think this is the same James Madison West. Mine was born in Old Washington, Guernsey county, Ohio, August 27, 1810, married Nancy N. Smith, and died April 16, 1882 in Senecaville, Guernsey county, Ohio. His parents were Thomas West, Sr. and Margaret Howell.
