    3. Hello. My first time to send a message, so someone respond just to let me know I did it correctly. I need to know the direction to head re. the brothers of my great, great, great grandmother's brothers. Their parents were William West (Sept. 1811) and Oney Welbeloved Taft (Dec. 1812 or 13), of NC and SC. My great grandmother (I was blessed to have her in my life until I was nearly 30) wrote this is her "ledger." "GrandMother West's brothers that were killed in the Civil War bueried(sp) in Roebuck. WilliamThomas West Willis Perry West James Mikeil West Andy Gabrial West William Jr. West" I know that Roebuck is in Spartanburg County South Carolina. I've written to the SC Gen.Soc., but so far, no response. I want to know about these men. Did they have families? Exactly where are they buried? How and where did they die. If I have complete information, there were no other males for William and Oney, so, by name, this line stopped here. Can anyone give me help or direction? Thank you. Flossy Melton
