Help! I am having a real hard time finding out anything further on this part of my husband's family. His father died when he was two so he never knew him and everyone lost touch with the rest of that part of the family. We only know that his grandfather was named NOWIE(or NOAH) WEST. He married a BETTY HANLEY (or HADLEY) and they had at least four children named WILLIAM (called BILL), HENRY NOAH (called PETE), THURMAN HARRISON (called Faye), and their sister BIRDIE (m. WILLIAM HOLLAND). We know that Nowie worked as a farmer and work in England, AR at a sawmill for a long time. He died at 4-Mile Corner, near Des Arc, AR. I know it's not much but this is all we have.
