The 1880 US census of Marshall Co., MS says he and his parents were born in TN then the 1920 US census of Yakima Co., WA says he was born in KY. Which do you believe. I have a cousin in Germany that says that his gr-grandfather was born in the Carolinas, and he could be a brother to my James WEST.
