Hugh West I am assuming is Thomas Hughey West b 15 Oct 1873 Aberdeen Miss d 1 mar 1919 of the flu Father rufus calhoun West mother Emma Lou ware He was a grocery salesman, traveled for a company called hale Hossel Grocery out of durant oklahoma. Rufus West had a livery stable in Bells Texas Thomas Hughey married Princess Eulalia Whitley b 2 Apr 1878 Winfield Alabama on 14 Nov 1897. She died in bells Texas 1 Apr 1967. Lloyd was born in bells Texas He became a pharmacist. He bought a drug store in 1934 in Channing Texas, where he lived for 16 years. In 1940 he was elected hartley county judge, an office he held until 1950. He sold the drug store in 1944. In 1950 he moved to Dalhart, bought another drug store that he ran until 1965. He also went into the cattle business using the brand "Rx" while running registered Red Angus cattle.
