    2. Samuel A. West & Others To Burgess West No. 356 Know all men by these presents that we Samuel A. West, James W. West, Walter J. West, sons of Walter West formerly of Spartanburg district in Carolina, and who died in Giles County Georgia (it was put this way in the document) , David M. Kincaid and Mary Kincaid his wife, formerly, Mary West, a daugther of the said Walter West, Elias Ridin & Elizabeth his wife formerly Elizabeth West and daughter of the said Walter West, all of the county of Giles and state of Tennessee have constituted and appointed and and to by these presents, constitute and appoint, Burgess West, of said County of Giles our true and lawfull attorney in fact, for us and in our names and for our use, to ask, demand, collect, receive and if necessary sue for and recover from any and all persons, who may have the same in possession, or custody, all our part, portion, distribution shares, or legacy deceased coming to use in any way wahtsoever from the estate of Kinsey West Dec'd late of Spartanburgh district in said state of South Carolina, and who was the brother of our father the said Walter West, dec'd who last resided in the county of Giles, aforesaid with power to our said attorney, to institute ---- or suits for the recovery of the same, should it be necessary against any and all persons, who may have in their posession, the whole or any part of our distribution share, portion or legacy, in the estate of the said Kinsey West, which would of right have belonged to our father if living, but which now of right, descends and belongs to us and further with power to our said attorney to make and receive all monies receipts, remittances and dicharges to the whole or any part of our said part. and portion of the estate of the said Kinsey West, which he may recover and reclaim to posession to any and all persons, entitled to the same and finally power to our said attorney to do any and all things for use and in our name and that he may think or find necessary for carrying this power of attorney, into full and complete operation that we ourselves might or could do, or be requered to do, and perform in the same manner and as fully as simply as if we were personally there presents transacting the business in our own proper persons, and we do all of us by these presnts, bind ourselves to ratify and confirm all that our said attorney may shall lawfully do for us int he premises, in testimony this we have ---- sworn --- and affixed our seals this 18th day of September A.D. 1838 Samuel A.
